I. University Overview

III. Job Summary

This position is responsible for administratively supporting various systems, processes and activities in the Human Resources department.

 

IV. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Administers the HRAF process

· Administers job postings for open positions

· Conducts reference checks and background checks for new employees

· Creates, organizes and maintains employee records (electronic and hard copy)

· Coordinates and participates in the orientation process for new employees

· Creates and provides offer packets to new employees (hard copy and electronic)

· Initiates and administers the onboarding process in ADP

· Ensures job descriptions are current and up to date

· Maintains all HR communication centers

· Other duties as assigned

VI. Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s Degree

· 2+ years of Human Resources experience

 

VII. Working Conditions / Physical Demands

· Work is typically performed in a conventional office environment

· Frequent requirement to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, see, read, speak, reach, stretch with hands and arms, crouch, kneel, climb, and stoop

· Frequent repetitive hand motion, e.g., computer keyboard, calculator, writing

· Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull various items up to a maximum of 25 pounds

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 29 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Human resources: 2 years (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
