Job Summary
The Employee Success Manager of Benefits and Wellness oversees the administration of the University's employee benefit programs, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives. This role provides strategic oversight, counseling for employees on benefits and retirement options, and organizes activities that enhance overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Employee Success Benefits team, overseeing administration, ensuring compliance, and providing guidance on complex cases
- Oversee benefits programs, including health, dental, retirement, and supplemental plans, while resolving escalated issues and maintaining vendor relationships
- Oversee the institutional TAP program, ensuring alignment with university policies
- Develop and implement wellness initiatives to support employees' physical, mental, and financial well-being, including events and workshops
- Provide guidance to employees and retirees on benefits enrollment, retirement planning, and related resources. Serve at the primary authorized signer for retirement accounts
- Analyze program trends, drive process improvements, and present metrics to support strategic decision-making and enhance employee engagement
- Support university-wide Employee Success initiatives and collaborate with other HR teams as needed
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree OR Seven (7) or more years of related work experience with PHR or SHRM-CP Certification
Required Experience
- Four (4) or more years of professional human resources experience, including two years in benefits OR it's equivalent through training, education, and other experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of specialized certification in benefits administration, such as CBP, BEBS, SHRM-CP, or PHR
Preferred Experience
- Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
Proposed Salary
$50,173 - $63,955
This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
