Job Summary
The Department of Pharmacology in the University of Michigan Medical School is in search of a Clinical Assistant Professor. The selected candidate will devote 80% of their time to teaching a variety of graduate level courses in the School of Dentistry, the Medical School, Medicinal Chemistry and Neuroscience, and undergraduate courses in Pharmacology. The remaining 20% of the selected candidates time will be devoted to the administration and direction of the Pharmacology Master's Degree Program. A Ph.D. in a biomedical science or M.D. alony with a substantial record of teaching Pharmacology and/or Medicinal Chemistry courses at the graduate and undergraduate level is required. Modes of Work

Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
