Community Education Program at MiraCosta College is offering a unique opportunity for instructors and/or subject matter experts to teach creative new classes! We are looking for an instructor to teach the course "Spanish for Starters" in the summer (7 Tues, 7/2-8/13, 6-8pm).
- Instructors must have teaching experience of teaching more than 10 students at a time, communication skills, must be an expert and passionate about the area selected to teach.
- Must be an expert in the course subject.
- Instructors must be able to work one-on-one and with small to large groups of students.
- Able to teach and develop hands-on projects.
- Instructors who are personable, enthusiastic, and patient.
- Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, ethnic, and disability issues. It is imperative that the instructor is professional and ethical at all times.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 14 – 20 per week
