Position Summary:
The postdoctoral researcher will be part of a research team working on the design of energy and exergy flow systems at district scale to assess their efficiency and resilience under heat events.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The postdoctoral researcher will be expected to participate in the project’s work, work as a team member, and perform the following major tasks:
- Bibliography and identification of the energy system components.
- Theoretical modeling and simulation of the flow systems.
- Data analysis.
- Assisting the PI and the sponsor in grant writing for other funding of this project.
- Participate in weekly meetings and help to prepare reports and presentations for project sponsor.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A PhD in Mechanical Engineering required; successful PhD thesis defense with pending graduation will be considered.
- Experience with theoretical approaches in thermodynamics and numerical modelling.
