The Department of Medicine (http://med.ucsd.edu) at the University of California San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body and is currently recruiting Project Scientists.
The Project Scientist will focus their research on neuro-oncology and identifying unexplored anticancer strategies. Additionally, the Project Scientist will provide statistical analysis and abstract and manuscript preparation. The Project Scientist will also have the opportunity to submit research grants independently as well as perform research projects in collaboration with faculty in the division of Regenerative Medicine. The Project scientist will occasionally teach and provide lectures to graduate students.
The appointment will be at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Project Scientist level and will be based on the candidate's background and years of experience.

Candidates must have an MD or equivalent, or MD/PhD or PhD in cell, molecular biology, cancer biology, or other relevant areas/disciplines.
