Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing and Procurement:

  • Lead and manage strategic sourcing initiatives for high-value and complex categories.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and enhance supplier performance.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify opportunities and develop sourcing strategies.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze procurement data and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on procurement performance, cost savings, and market trends.
  • Utilize advanced analytics tools to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectively.

Vendor Management:

  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and terms.
  • Monitor and assess supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
  • Address and resolve complex supplier issues or disputes.

Process Improvement and Compliance:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain procurement best practices and standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments, including Finance, Operations, and Legal, to align procurement activities with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with project teams to support new product development and other strategic initiatives.

Leadership and Mentorship:

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior procurement staff and analysts.
  • Lead procurement training sessions and workshops to build team capabilities and knowledge.

Contract Management:

  • Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and execution of contracts and agreements.
  • Manage contract renewals and amendments, ensuring alignment with business needs and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is preferred.

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, with a demonstrated track record of managing complex procurement activities and achieving cost savings.

  • Skills:
    • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret and leverage data for strategic decision-making.
    • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
    • Proficiency in procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
    • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).

The pay ranges outlined below are presented in accordance with state-specific regulations. These ranges may differ in other areas and could be subject to variation based on regulatory minimum wage requirements. Actual pay rates will depend on factors such as position, location, level of experience, and applicable state or local minimum wage laws. If the regulatory minimum wage exceeds the minimum indicated in the pay range below, the regulatory minimum wage will be the minimum rate applied.
