Assistant Director of Corporate Programs
Job Description
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, CORPORATE PROGRAMS, MIT Professional Education (PE), to collaborate with colleagues, program director(s), staff, faculty, clients, and sponsors in delivering world-class professional education programs to companies and individuals abroad and on campus. Will serve and represent Corporate Programs (CP) and Digital Plus Programs (DPP) to all stakeholders; develop a sustainable forecast, budget, and client proposals with the senior director; managing the Corporate Programs portfolio and staff; develop and implement plans to improve processes and productivity across the team; collaborate with the Digital Plus Program team; supervise and mentor supervisees, working closely with faculty teams, PE marketing, PE finance, and internal and external partners; and provide oversight of external vendors and represent Professional Education at various events.
MIT Professional Education (PE), under the School of Engineering, offers a suite of education programs and modalities to serve the continuing educational needs of global professionals.
REQUIRED: B.A/B.S.; at least five years of program management and/or business-related experience, preferably in a professional higher education and/or corporate relations setting; proven success creating budgets and reviewing financial transactions; supervisory experience and ability to lead and motivate team members; proven success leading projects; ability to build collaborative working relationships with people at all levels; excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication and presentation skills; ability to make data-driven decisions; and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, videoconferencing applications, and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
