Reports To: Director, Alternative Investment Academy
FLSA: Exempt
Compensation: $64,100 - $73,300
Location/Hours
This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our New York City office. It is expected that some duties will be performed on-site at least 2 days a week and some remotely, with the understanding that government and public health guidelines will help determine the extent to which it is safe to carry out in-person and onsite activities.
All candidates must be within commutable distance of SEO's offices at 55 Exchange Place, New York, NY 10005, upon hire.

POSITION OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Program Manager (PM) helps support various aspects of the SEO Alternative Investment Program programming with a primary focus on managing the Investment Academy programming. The Investment Academy is our pipeline prep program geared towards investment banking analysts and consultants as they get ready to apply to our fellowship program and interview for buyside roles.
The PM will maintain and manage a comprehensive strategic plan that includes marketing, communications, training, and other projects to meet organizational goals and increase the program's overall reach and impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Operations & Management
- Assume full responsibility for the seamless execution of the Investment Academy Program. Implement the agreed upon training program.
- Develop plans and workflows; track program milestones, delegate tasks, and hold team members accountable to deadlines.
- In partnership with the Investment Academy team, manage event planning and execution, including researching, sourcing, and coordinating with vendors and sponsors to secure venues, catering, and speakers; develop run-of-shows for events and communication plans for participants, partners, and vendors.
- Under the direction of the Director, provide oversight and support to 5-10 part-time coaches.
- Monitor inboxes and provide timely responses to participant inquiries and questions for our 200+ program participants, and exercise sound judgment in resolving and escalating customer service issues.
- Identify, propose and manage other initiatives that advance and support SEO AI's strategic and operating objectives.
- Perform occasional evening and weekend work dependent on program needs.
Marketing & Outreach
- Develop marketing and outreach strategies to attract target audience(s).
- Liaise with the SEO Marketing & Communications team to create and share marketing materials via social media, email, partner platforms, and other mediums.
- Conduct research and draft content to increase the efficacy of and engagement with marketing collateral.
Systems & Analytics
- Leverage Monday.com and other project management tools to track and organize program deliverables; create goals and KPIs to evaluate processes and draw insights to inform recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Track program participant data; retain accountability for data accuracy and management.
- Assist with database management by monitoring, collecting, and assessing available data to determine the effectiveness of current programming and messaging; suggest changes accordingly.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting support to the Associate Director and other team members as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3+ years of work experience in a similar operations position; direct experience in nonprofit or educational program management is a plus.
- Practiced verbal and interpersonal communication skills; must be comfortable speaking to and engaging with a wide range of communities) and through different avenues, including in-person, email, messaging platforms, video chats/conferencing, and phone calls.
- Technical proficiency in MS Office, GSuite, and standard workplace applications like Zoom and Box. Intermediate skills in Canva, Salesforce, and advanced Excel skills are strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and experience managing multiple competing priorities and meeting deadlines independently and as part of a larger team.
- Exemplary attention to detail, copywriting, and proofing skills. Must be able to adopt SEO's brand guidelines and flex tone and style to match both medium and audience.
- Experience in creating communication materials and using various marketing channels to drive engagement with target audience.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in software such as Canva, Constant Contact, etc.
- Ability to collect and analyze data to provide strategic direction.
- Adaptable, particularly in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence key partners.
