Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
This NIH-funded research program utilizes fundamental principles of public health, nutrition, and analytical chemistry to evaluate dietary supplements’ ingredient content and performance quality through chemical analysis.
Seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Scientist to develop databases, coordinate data processing, writeprograms, and work closely with scientists and statisticians.

- BS degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Math,
Biostatistics)
Experience:

- At least 2 years of experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and familiarity with other data analysis tools (e.g., R, SAS)
- Experience with data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience in designing, developing, and managing databases
- Excellent communication and analytical thinking skills
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to handle large datasets efficiently.
Preferences:
Preferences:
- The ideal candidate will have a MS degree in Data Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics or a related field plus at least 1 year of related experience.
- Experience working in a scientific research environment
- Extensive experience in designing, developing, and managing databases using Microsoft Access;
- Extensive experience with SAS.
