Our Lab is focused on investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying common urological birth defects in humans by recapitulating them in mouse models. Candidates will be expected to design and conduct independent research experiments within the scope of our lab interests using a range of molecular biological, cell biological, biomaterials, and analytical techniques (PCR, Western blots, Cell culture, immunofluorescence...); provide instruction and guidance to others in these techniques; manage and maintain a transgenic mouse animal colony; analyze data and present results in the forms of oral and written reports to the Principal Investigator and lab members; assist in writing draft grant proposals and manuscripts; and participate in collaborative projects with other laboratories.
Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Doctorate Degree in a relevant field of study (Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, etc.) with a minimum of one (1) year of laboratory research experience required. Experience with animal/mouse models is preferred.
