Human Resource Generalist
Mountain Pacific is seeking a full-time Human Resource Generalist to support the HR Department in our Corporate Office in Helena, MT. As an HR Generalist you will play a key role in assisting in the daily functions of the Human Resource department including hiring and interviewing staff, payroll, and benefits, leave administration, and maintaining a strong knowledge of employment law, company policies and company practices. In this position it is important to be able to interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations. Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as recruiting, onboarding, hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or equivalent experience and at least one year of human resources work experience. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent verbal and writing skills. Preferred skills include negotiation and conflict resolution skills plus strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The target compensation for this position is $58,000-$75,000.
